Pride and Prejudice

I loved to see both these actors in this movie.
Their was also some great supporting actors.
The story is interesting, it's been done before, but I hadn't seen it, so it was new to me.
Keira Knightly was very good in this. Totally believable.
I would watch it again for sure.

I also didn't know exactly what the story was about. I don't think we got the BBC series in Montreal back in the day. So it was all new and fresh to me, and I didn't keep on comparing the two in my head throughout the film.

First of all, the cast was absolutely fantastic. Keira Knightly was better than I had ever seen her. And it was a beautiful film to watch. Beautifully shot. Great long steadicam shots, no cutting when unecessary, I love that. It let the actors really take center stage. There was a great energy throughout. Very nice art direction.
Really gave an uncensored idea about how things were back then, it's not always plush and polished and proper. You see the Bennett girls living in their cluttered home, just hangning out while completely bored, even hungover after a party on one occasion. I thought that was refreshing.

I saw it at the cinema, then bought the dvd when it came out, and I loved it even more the second time around.
