The Hitchiker Guide to the Galaxy

I love it! It's big! It's gold! It's fancy!
That's the quote I got from the movie, which is pretty funny...
The movie was entertaining, I laughed out loud many times (ask MP)
The story was interesting, the actors were funny.
Especially Alan Rickman as the depresive robot and Sam Rockwell as the president/surfer dude.
I would see it a second time but not so soon...
I'm glad I saw it, but I'm also glad I didn't pay the 10$ Guzzo ticket to see it.

First up, I have to say I am not the biggest fan of science fiction movies.
I have trouble with movies like this that have aliens that look like they are made out of putty. But it wasn't all bad. Although the chick with the ridiculously big eyes got on my nerves a little bit (I don't think she's a great actress), I did love the Rickman's depressive robot too, and yes, Rockwell was a bit of a hoot.
And not to give away too much, I have to say I did like the last character introduced that said:
'Ever herd of a country called Norway? I got a prize for that one.'
So to sum up, not always my cup of tea, but
I think the key to this movie is to try and enjoy the ride.
